HOW TO MAKE DEMAND DRAFT
- Just walk into the bank branch during working hours, request them for a DD. You will get the same irrespective whether its a home branch or not.
- You don’t need to have a bank account in Any Bank to apply for a DD (demand draft)
- If the amount is more than ₹50,000/- then you need issue a cheque to the bank (from whatever bank your account is). PAN should also be provided in that case. Commission charges payable extra.
you cannot make/apply a DD in cash above ₹49,999/-.
Although if you already have an account in bank then is whole process becomes very easy. Fill the form, and tick account payee. thats it.
